End of the year 2009, Vince Golangco started his blog. Golangco, born in San Diego, went to Manila two years ago on vacation. he posted and shared his experiences on his blogs to share with some friends back in San Diego. The blog did well. It instantly became famous. And in 2010, his blog won as the number one emerging influential blog.
Golangco admits his love for writing, "I just like writing. It's just a way to express myself," he said. And his interest in blogging, "It's a great way to express myself without having to write for an editor who's gonna change your work and stuff like that. Pretty much uncensored online. And you can express yourself anyway you want it," he added.
Now, he is the editor-in-chief of wheninmanila.com and has 8o contributors, writers, photographers and team members. The perks: he gets to be invited to cool events and places(all expenses paid) and gets to meet a lot of cool people.

>You can't be shy. You should get what you want. Even if people say no. People are always gonna say no to you. Never take no from anyone.
>Just write what you enjoy and write everyday. It has to be everyday.
>Never turn down opportunities.
>Never take no for an answer
Vince on success: "Success is preparation meeting opportunity. It means you don't know when opportunity's gonna come but you keep preparing."
